Artificial surfacing supplied by Notts Sport has played a key role in creating a stunning 'Sky Garden' at an office block in Hong Kong.
Notts Sport was commissioned by a local distributor for Perrier to provide non-turf surfacing technology for the roof terrace of the Shun On building in the city's banking district.
The company occupies three floors and the roof terrace of the 15-storey office building, with the extensive outdoor space utilised for entertaining clients.
Shaun Patrick, Chief Executive of Notts Sport explains:
"We provided 70m² of VHAF NottsSward in vibrant fjord blue, which was installed over the existing concrete roof terrace surface.
"A great deal of thought was given to the colour selected for the rooftop design.
"The bright blue shade was chosen according to the ancient Chinese principles of Feng Shui to bring good fortune to the company."
Andrew Aird, Director of Groundwork Services “Our brief was to provide a nice looking, safe and clean area, and ChildsPlay ticked all the boxes. Before, the children were limited in what they could do during playtimes, but now they are out there playing, sitting and chatting, and crawling all over it.”
