Hove Park
Existing sports grounds can be given a new lease of life by Notts Sport – and recycling the old is all part of the company's philosophy of giving its clients a great value for money service.
One such example can be seen at Hove Park in Brighton, where Notts Sport has provided expert advice on refurbishing five tennis courts that had endured years of play.
Following a detailed inspection of the original surface installed some 16 years earlier, Brighton & Hove City Council was advised that the most cost-effective solution wasn't to be found in replacing the entire system.
Instead, Notts Sport's appointed installation team from S & C Slatter carried out minor re-leveling work to the underlying ground, re-used the original shockpad layer which was showing little sign of wear, and replaced the top carpet with a new VHAF NottsSward TS surface.
